I have a friend who is a 4400, she was taken in 1948, she would tell me all these stories about where she lived and the politics and world affairs.
Sara was very liberal back then. We both go to college here in New Orleans. She was always supportive of the 4400 center and of Jordan Collier. And I'd always expressed my wish of becoming one of them.
So, when it became available, I took the Promicin shot. I suddenly got shooting pains up and down my spinal column and my eyes blazed red hot. My 4400 friend, Sara, came into the room, after hearing me knock down my lamp.
I looked over to her and suddenly saw her hopes, dreams, even her worst nightmares. I saw that she had longed for peace in her own time and the disappointment at the world not being any different now. I saw her fears of being persecuted for her 4400 abilities.
I looked over to the mirror at my own reflection and saw with shock that my eyes had turned from a dark green to a light bluish-purple. Sara looked at the empty promicin syringe on the bed and back to me.
Shocked, she asked, "Are you alright?!" ...
