FOR THE WEEK OF JANUARY 1, 2007
Brent, the newest 4400 Fan of the Week, is a veteran and father of three who looks forward to each new episode like it was Christmas. He would like the power to read minds. Here is his entry:
My father and I both watch the show — me in Oklahoma, him in New Mexico. We call and discuss the show after each episode. I feel like I know each of the characters and now I am wishing I hadn't moved from Tacoma, WA.
I make any Sunday night plans around the show. After every episode, I am anxious all week to see the next one, and truly think about it every day. When Sunday morning comes it's like Christmas or Easter. I just can't wait for the evening and my favorite show to come on. I watch my DVD sets at least once a week as well.
I guess as a single disabled vet and father of three I can see people that have it worse then me. To be labeled in any way can have such drastic effects on one's mental stability. And to top all that, you're looked at as a freak and an enemy — even by family in some cases.
If I could have any ability I would like to be able to read minds, so that I would know what people were actually thinking while they spout this and that.
