HELP CREATE THE 4400 SOUNDTRACK

Throughout the season, Music Producer Elliot Lurie will be taking us through the process by which each episode's music is chosen.

In our final episode we pursued the idea of closing with a song and flirted with "Bad" by U2 and a new track by Five For Fighting called "World." In the end it seemed like the lyrics fought with Jordan's voiceover and Claude Foisey's underscore worked best. If you search out "World" I think you'll find the idea of the song very much in sync with the feel of the end of the episode.

As our third season wraps, I'd like to thank all of you have shown such great interest in the music from The 4400. I check your comments often and they are helpful and informative. It's great to know that the music plays a part in your enjoyment of the show.

As I said at the beginning of the year, although I work on the show I'm also a fan, eagerly awaiting each new script and rough cut. I thought everyone involved did a great job this season with the story going in unexpected new places.

It looks like we'll definitely have a soundtrack album out by the time Season Four rolls around. If you'd like to post your suggestions as to which of the songs used in the first three seasons should be included on the album, I'd love to see them.

See you next Summer.
