WHAT PIECE OF ADVICE CARRIED YOU THROUGH THE TOUGHEST TIME IN YOUR CAREER? WHO GAVE IT TO YOU? HAVE YOU PASSED IT ON TO THE ELIMINATED CONTESTANTS?

Another name has been added to the list of those who would be named Nashville Star but fallen short.

After watching Dustin perform I know he's got the ability to entertain. It is just going to take him a bit longer to achieve his dream on a large scale since his departure from the nurturing arms of the Acuff Theater in Nashville. He's got the grit to get him through this rough patch in his career and I'm certain he'll use it as a learning experience.

When I first tried my hand at making a full-time career in entertainment, I overestimated my value to the entertainment community. After some additional hard work and fine tuning, I've made my return to the arena and am working my way up.

Positive reinforcement from true friends like Big & Rich, constantly reminding me to keep plowing through the adversity and turn that into fuel, has helped guide me through the uncertain times.

If there is anything I would say to the contestants at this time, it's that no matter how much progress has been made in your career there is more to be achieved.

I try to improve whatever I do at each successive effort. Hopefully it will continue to work for me.
