NOW THAT YOU'VE MET THE CONTESTANTS, WHAT'S YOUR OUTLOOK FOR THE NEW SEASON?
The first week of Nashville Star Season Four is underway! The energy at all of the rehearsals has been electric. Enough energy to power a small township in Ohio, to be certain.
Wy has been great! She has helped lighten the mood when things tend to get too serious and helped rein everything back in when things get too rowdy.
Each of the 10 finalists have displayed tenacity and professionalism in their rehearsal performances. I find it interesting to see such maturity in each of the contestants when they are in front of the cameras. If they are nervous they don't show it.
The interviews and media attention are higher now than anything Iíve done in recent months. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Everyone appears to be waiting for the highly anticipated season premiere. I have been watching each of the finalists and some are standing out as potential front-runners to take the title.
But at the same time, I told the contestants to make certain they bring all their energy each week. They can't afford to take the week off. If they do, they run the risk of getting the boot. There is no second chance.
I have been preparing myself to be in front of the cameras because television is a whole different ballgame than concert performances. Your audience is increased from hundreds and thousands to millions. I am stoked and am quite ready.
One thing I can tell you to count on is that the first episode will have surprises. You must tune in! You don't want to be the only one at the office who missed the party. So make certain you mark your calendar for March 14, 10/9C on USA Network.
The road to Nashville Stardom begins now!
