WEEK FOUR

Well, the competition is getting fashionably fierce. Especially with each contestant taking us for a turn with a different sultry side we haven't seen! Interesting that the fashion forecast called for knee-highed hotties on all three ladies, but good thing they managed to take their own stride in each look.

WHITNEY DUNCAN

Shut. The front. Door. Is this the same cute thang who always wore the pants in this contest?? Whitney Duncan, both Randy Owen and I apparently agree: this dress was made for you. Way to turn this week around, babe.

DARLIN'

DITCH IT!

GREAT RETRO RAP
We’ve seen from past weeks that Whitney was made for shades of red- and this dress takes it over the top. I love the patterns to play up Whitney’s petite frame. And the clashing sash is a great mix and match.
DANGLING OVERDONE
I would suggest more simple pieces of jewelry with a busy dress like this. The mesh of crosses is a cute, personal touch that I can see Whitney wanted, but the hoops/dangled strands earrings pushes it into overtime. Stick to basic studs or maybe small hoops with the décor around the décolletage.
FUN GO-GO FLAIR
Nice touch with the boots. Although this dress goes with any basic heel as well, I like the boots for Whitney because it keeps the tomboy beat we’ve seen in her past styles.
ROOTIN' HER ON
..but not just onstage. Whitney’s vivid blond locks require regular touch ups to avoid this contrast being so obvious. I’d definitely make a salon stop before next week, as this could only lead to a darker ditch it.
