FOR THE WEEK OF October 16, 2009
Hi! My name is Lydia and I have seen every episode of Monk that has ever aired. I have also read all of the wonderful books by Lee Goldberg, and I would just like to say "wow." This show is amazing, the best I have ever seen. The cast and crew should be so proud of themselves for creating such a fantastic show. Tony Shalhoub is the best actor on the whole planet, and I would like to congratulate him for his Emmy Nomination.
I share a few quirks with the world's best detective myself, and I also have some phobias in common with Monk. Some of them are pretty strange, for example, I hate ketchup with a passion. I tend to freak out if anyone gets too close to me with it, and I think it is the smell that repulses me the most. It definitely disgusted me in "Mr. Monk takes his Medicine" when Adrian got ketchup on his shirt and didn't even wipe it up. Yuck! I also am a germaphobe, and I carry hand sanitizer or wipes with me everywhere!
I personally think that everybody is a little Monk-ish, and I think that it is our differences that set us apart, and make us unique... although, if everybody was uniform, and things were symetrical and even, I wouldn't be complaining... =D
Basically, I would just like to thank all of the cast and crew that work so hard on Monk to make it the best show in the world, as well as making it entertaining and so much fun to watch!
Think you deserve the honor of "Monk Fan of the Week"?
