FAN OF THE WEEK

FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 4, 2007

Bill & Sheri R.

Hello from Louisiana! Our names are Bill and Sheri. We are newlyweds of 2 months and should definitely be the Monk fans of the week!

My husband Bill and I share a lot of common interests, with Monk being one of them. I have to admit Bill was a bigger fan at first but this was due to his own OCD tendencies. I think he could identify with Monk more. But then when I watched more episodes and saw how much Monk loved his Trudy, I realized that Bill also loves me that much! So now every Friday the Tivo is set and we watch the episodes over and over.

I bought my sweetie 2 box sets for Christmas, and now he's getting the other 2 for his birthday next week. He was beside himself on Christmas day when he opened those! And he watched them in 2 days. I always call him "My little Monk" because he checks the doors several times before we leave, he obsesses over a spot on the floor or a streak on a his truck window, and he worries over little things that don't bother me . But, that's okay. I love my Monk more than anything!

The Monk show has won our respect for the best show on TV right now. It's clean so the whole family can watch. It's hilarious, it's unpredictable, and the cast is awesome. We were so thrilled when Monk won an award. Tony Shalhoub was even funny accepting his award! What else can we say? We are hooked!

I hope Bill's and my love stays as strong as Monk and Trudy's. I hope one day he'll find true love again. That would be an awesome episode. And we hope the show has continued success. Thanks for making us HUGE fans!!
